CANNONCINI

This is part of a collection I call "Playful Pastry," where I display them as board games.I imagined cannoncini as Jenga pieces stacked onto each other.
Cannoncini (also known as Italian cream horns) are made of crispy buttery puff pastry with a luscious, creamy Italian Pastry Cream filling. You can use chocolate, vanilla, or this pistachio cream filling for these delicious treats. You can also use cannoli filling.Â
